Oklahoma Food Stamp Recipients Hits All-Time High

This CBS News video takes a hard-hitting look at how one Oklahoma family has to rely on food stamps, but they are still left with empty cupboards at the end of the month - the father, the head of the household has been steadily looking for work since he lost his construction job. The family says food banks and food pantries help them to fill in the end of the month gap.

In addition, the video takes a look at how grocery stores are hit the hardest at the first of the month, due to the fact that Oklahoma EBT cards are filled at that time - this is why Oklahoma food stamps will undergo a major recipient date change, starting April, 1, 2011.
